COURSE OVERVIEW
Advanced Search and Seizure for Investigators is an advanced, real-world focused constitutional training designed for officers building serious criminal cases. It goes beyond basic Fourth Amendment concepts and teaches how courts actually evaluate investigations—from initial detention through suppression hearings and appeals.

The course breaks down key legal areas including detention, arrests, Miranda and Sixth Amendment issues, consent, exigent circumstances, and the standards that determine whether evidence is admissible. It also covers advanced topics like warrant strategy, anticipatory warrants, affidavit writing, digital and biometric evidence, drone surveillance, and forensic collection.

The primary focus is on helping officers build cases that survive in court—understanding how judges analyze probable cause, nexus, scope, and execution, while avoiding common mistakes that lead to suppression.
